SAMPLE OF OUR CONFINED SPACE PROGRAM

CONFINED SPACE AWARENESS:
This class is a lecture based class that makes students able to identify
a confined space and know that standards that apply to these confined spaces.
Students will also learn proper lock out tag out procedures and atmospheric
monitoring.

CONFINED SPACE OPERATIONS:
This class is a hands on class that builds on the awareness level and allows
students to learn non entry and entry rescue techniques. Students will be able
to perform such roles as rescue entrant, backup, attendant and team leader
in very real scenarios. Students will use atmospheric monitoring, lock out
tag out, patient packaging and rope systems.

- Prerequisites: Confined Space Awareness, Rope I, First

CONFINED SPACE TECHNICIAN:
This class picks up where the operation class leaves off. Students learn
specialized techniques for confined space rescues where the victim is not
easily accessed, the possibility of retrieval system entanglement exists,
restricted surroundings or hazards can not be eliminated.
