LEAD INSTRUCTORS

First Due Training lead instructors are both active and retired New York City officers and firefighters.

Most are or have been assigned to FDNY's Special Operations Command - including service with Rescue Company and Squad Company units.

Our lead instructors have extensive experience in not only firefighting and search & rescue, but also technical rescue including expertise with ropes and rigging, trench rescue, confined space, SCUBA and more...

First Due Training is an authorized trainer for the Petzl EXO Personal Escape System and RIT Rescue & Escape Systems. We have provided end-user classes, demonstrations, refresher classes and train-the-trainer classes.
