The Petzl EXO Personal Escape System provides firefighters
with a fast, reliable means of escape from a burning structure. A
firefighter trained and equipped with the EXO system can quickly

End-User Class Overview
- Sign-In and Introduction
- Class Objectives
- Classroom - System Components, Assembly, Deployment, Considerations, Care, Inspection, Maintenance
- Orientation - Packing System, Affixing System to Harness and Clove Hitch
- Hands On Practice - The first three slides while wearing PPE - Remote and Sill Anchoring, Horizontal Movement, Exiting Techniques, Descent Control.
- Lunch
- Hands On - Slides four through six with PPE and SCBA (on air). Reinforce Remote and Sill Anchoring, Horizontal Movement, Exiting Techniques, Descent Control.
- Hands On - Slides seven through nine with PPE and SCBA (on air with obstructed face piece). Increased level of difficulty in Remote and Sill Anchoring, Horizontal Movement, Exiting Techniques, Descent Control.
