PETZL EXO PERSONAL ESCAPE SYSTEM
End-User Certification Training Course

The Petzl EXO is a unique firefighter escape system that allows a firefighter to escape a dangerous upper floor emergency in seconds! Petzl has authorized First Due Training to provide the required training class to Petzl EXO customers.

To date, First Due Training has trained thousands of firefighters in the user, deployment and operation of these essential systems. We have supervised and trained over 10,000 bailout slides.

First Due Training, in conjunction with Petzl, has developed an 8-10 hour training course on the PETZL EXO. Our course includes a Powerpoint lecture that discusses the EXO System components and their proper use during an emergency egress. A majority of the training course is hands-on, in which the students will be taught various techniques and will perform slides on the system.

PETZL EXO "END USER" CLASS
This class is designed to educate and instruct the students on the proper use, deployment and care of the Petzl EXO Personal Escape System. Upon successful completion of this 1-day course, students will be eligable to purchase and use the EXO Personal Escape System.

PETZL EXO ANNUAL REFRESHER CLASS
For those agencies that have the Petzl EXO Personal Escape System, our EXO Refresher Course is an excellent way to keep members proficient in the use and care of the system. This class emphasized the escape sequence by providing the student mutiple opportunities at the bail-out evolutions.

PETZL EXO "TRAIN the TRAINER" COURSE
This 3-day comprehensive course is designed to provide the basics for fire departments to develop and instruct their personnel on the proper use, deployment and care of the Petzl EXO Personal Escape System. Upon successful completion of this course, student trainers will be "authorized" to teach the "End User" Petzl EXO course to their members.

Where can this training be held?
First Due will travel to you! End-User and Train-the-Trainer course can be held at your local academy, your fire station or other location(s) that would accomodate the training evolutions. A classroom and two-story building is required.
